The Dementia Australia Advisory Committee currently has 4 vacancies to fill
The Dementia Australia Advisory Committee was established in 2013 in response to people with dementia around the country who wanted to be involved in advocating for the needs of people with dementia and their families.
The committee is a formal mechanism to ensure the insights and wisdom of people living with dementia are included in policy, program and service development. Members of the committee are active advocates in their communities and contribute specialist expertise by providing lived experience knowledge.
The committee is for people living with dementia and is not appropriate for families or carers.
Please note the committee is currently not taking applications from people who live in NSW due to current representation from this state.
