Dementia Advocates meet in South Australia

South Australian Advocates took time out from their busy schedules for a morning coffee in February. This was a chance to meet fellow Advocates and welcome some new people to the group.

Wide and varied conversations saw Advocates share their experiences and interests and find out about other opportunities for involvement.

“It was lovely to meet up with everyone and I enjoyed our chat,” said Advocate Maria Capogreco who is a carer. ”It was a nice time for sure!”

“Yesterday was good and a great start to 2023 for Advocates,” said Advocate Vern Marshall who is a former carer.

Helpline cards were given out and information shared as well as a date set for the next Advocate meeting.
