New Videos

Video GalleryNew additions to our Video Gallery include a 14 movie series called Living With Dementia, The Dementia Friendly Gardens, Brisbane Memory Walk, The importance of exercise, Your Story Matters, and our community languages section now includes videos in 15 languages.


New Resources & Publications

Family and Friends Matter. Now available in English, Cantonese, Greek, Italian, Mandarin, Spanish, Turkish and Vietnamese.

Dementia Australia National Consumer Summit 2016 Communique. This publication outlines priorities determined by people with dementia, and carers.  

Legal rights Dementia Guidelines. In February 2016, the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) approved the Clinical practice guidelines and principles of care for people with dementia: Recommendations.

Legal rights, a practical guide to help people diagnosed with dementia, and their families and carers.

Superannuation and dementia. People with dementia and their families often ask whether they have a right to access their superannuation early to assist with their financial situation, given that they have a terminal illness.
