The Client Services Team delivers Programs and Workshops across South Australia for family members caring for a relative with dementia living in the community.

 

Family Carer Program

A program delivered over four sessions, for family members caring for a relative with dementia living in the community.

Topics include:

  • Understanding dementia
  • Responding to changes in behaviour
  • Effective communication
  • The caring role
  • Planning for the future and legal issues
  • Services and supports available to you

Ongoing monthly Family Carer Support Groups may be available following a Family Carer Program.
