This session provides information about a dementia diagnosis and the support options available following a diagnosis. 

Dementia Australia's facilitators have specialist dementia knowledge, skills and experience. This session can be delivered online or in person.

Suitable for: People living with dementia and their family carers and family members.  

This session will benefit people post diagnosis and in the early stages of living with dementia. This session is not suitable for people without a diagnosis, people living with dementia who are in the late stages, have behavioural concerns or who are non-verbal.

This session can be delivered on the behalf of aged care and disability service providers onsite to people living with dementia and their families. If you would like to discuss onsite delivery, please contact the National Dementia Helpline on 1800 100 500. 

This program is not suitable for professional carers or people employed in the health or aged care industries. The resources, content and delivery will not meet the needs of professionals.
