Teamtlc Tender Loving Carers is a volunteer non-for-profit fundraising group, operating under the auspices of Dementia Australia. They began in 2012 with the aim of fundraising for people with Younger Onset Dementia (YOD), their carers and families. Teamtlc enable carers to have a break from their arduous caring role, recognising that the role of the carer is critical to the wellbeing and ongoing quality of life of the family member they care for.
Teamtlc’s purpose is to raise funds to provide support for carers to have a break from their arduous caring role by attending information days, annual retreats, and social events. They can also provide financial support for Younger Onset families to attend events in Adelaide. Contact Teamtlc via Facebook or the number listed below to find out more.

Open Garden Event a Great Success!
On 21 and 22 October, Teamtlc tender loving carers were most fortunate to be invited to assist with the provision of High Tea at the Open Garden event at The Garden at Wilpena Street.
This stunning garden was viewed by well over fourteen hundred enthusiasts many of whom stayed on to enjoy a beautiful high tea in the glorious surrounds.
We are very excited to announce that Teamtlc received an incredibly generous donation of $13,300 from Rob Andrewartha and Dave Simms, owners of The Garden at Wilpena Street!
This significant and amazing gift will go towards the support to carers and family members of people living with younger Younger Onset Dementia.
Thank you to Rob and Dave and all who attended over the two days!
