This nationally-accredited course is designed to assist workers supporting people living with dementia. Strategies are explored to assist with good communication, planning, developing appropriate activities and understanding changed behaviour in people living with dementia.
By successfully completing this nationally recognised unit, you will gain a comprehensive knowledge of dementia and receive a formal Statement of Attainment.
Free of charge courses (for people working in residential aged care or community aged care services):
To be eligible to attend this course free-of-charge, you must be working in residential aged care or community aged care.
