Mr Rees outlined three issues that are critical for people living with dementia of all ages:

  1. Access to care and support

  2. Quality residential care

  3. Funding for dementia research

These issues are highlighted in Dementia Australia’s Fight Dementia Campaign election document that sets out the priorities that have been outlined by people with dementia and their family carers.
