Researchers at UNSW's 'felt Experience & Empathy Lab' [fEEL], Paddington campus, are seeking volunteer research participants to learn about how Australian seniors perceive ageing and how they are personally experiencing the ageing process, including any changes they may have noticed in their own brain-functioning over time, or any other insights and challenges they would like to share about transitioning into later life. This is an opportunity for you to tell your story about your lived experience of ageing and/or living with dementia.
Would the research study be a good fit for me? The study might be a good fit for you if you meet the following criteria:
- Identify as ‘Senior’
- Live in Sydney or Canberra
- Are proficient in English
- Are willing and able to participate in face to face interviews
- Have either a recent diagnosis of Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) or dementia
- You must be able to provide written informed consent
Participation involves completing a 1-hour interview, in person or over the telephone or skype.
