Supporting people living in the community

Dementia Advisors

Dementia Australia SA’s Dementia Advisors are a specialised team which assists people with dementia and their families to access specific information, resources, education and support, tailored to their individual needs. The Dementia Advisor program is funded by the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP).

What do Dementia Advisors do?

Dementia Advisors will also assist special needs groups such as the CALD and Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander community members 50 years and over, people at risk of homelessness 50 years and over, veterans, members of the LGBTI community, and people living alone.
