Dementia Inclusive Ballina

We are determined to improve the social and physical amenity of Ballina Shire to enable people living with dementia and their carers to fully participate in the daily life of the community.

We deliver a range of community engagement activities, including consultation and awareness raising forums, education and training sessions, and community social activities. Of note is our weekly dementia activity group and the monthly young onset dementia carers support group.

We aim to refer people to local dementia support services if required.

Dementia Inclusive Ballina has over 60 members from local businesses, community groups, service organisations and interested individuals.
