Open Minds Nillumbik Dementia Friendly Alliance
We are a group of committed and friendly people that come together monthly to work on actions to make Nillumbik dementia-friendly.
We care for each other, we share our experiences and we hope to educate through contact and community talks.
The alliance includes, people living with dementia, carers, service providers, Council representatives and general community members.
Our Purpose: To develop a dementia-friendly Nillumbik community by working with:
People living with dementia
Carers
General community
Where we are located: Outer North eastern suburbs of Melbourne
When and where we meet: Monthly, at the Hurstbridge Community Hub and at the Memory Care cafes in Hurstbridge, Eltham and Diamond Creek.
