Co-designing an online medication management portal for older people and their caregivers

Kolling Institute of Research, University of Sydney

The aim of this research project is to develop an online medication management portal, with, and for older people with the view to empowering older people to make informed decisions for their health, promote patient engagement and shared decision making between patients and prescribers, consequently optimising health and improving outcomes.

By co-designing an online portal to support older people with medication management and communicating their health and medication-related goals of care, this project aims to make headway towards deprescribing as a collaborative approach between prescriber and patient.
