Are you passionate about creating a community where everyone is valued, understood, and supported? A dementia-friendly community is one where people living with dementia feel empowered, respected, and included in all aspects of life. Together, we can make Capella a place where everyone can thrive.

This friendly, practical session is about learning how we can look out for one another - at the shops, in the street, at the library, and in our workplaces.

What you'll learn:

  • A clear, everyday understanding of what dementia is.
  • How it can affect communication, confidence, and participation.
  • Small changes that make spaces more dementia-friendly.
  • Practical tips for respectful, supportive interactions.
  • How our community can work together to be more inclusive.

Suitable for anybody in the community.
