Far South Carer - Circle of Friends

Are you a Carer?
Carer of a person/loved one with frailty or dementia?
You too need to be supported, and there is a group available that meets monthly at The Vineyard Retirement Village, 170 Main Road, McLaren Vale.

The group meets on the last Friday of the month from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
We share information about our caring roles in a confidential and safe place. We have had information sessions on all levels of caring. Some of the previous sessions have included Advance Care Directives, wellbeing sessions (Jude Lowe – Onkaparinga Council), VAD, laughter therapy, meditation, and “giggle n games,” to name a few.

It is a friendly group with people who are currently caring for a loved one with frailty or dementia, some on the journey of residential placement, and others dealing with the passing of their loved one and all that entails.
