Dementia Friendly is a verb. Join us for memory movement and connection at The Living Hub. Bring a carer or loved one
The Blacktown Dementia Action Group invites you to a dementia-friendly session at Max Webber Library’s The Living Hub, held on the last Saturday of every month.
The Living Hub is a specially designed space focused on comfort, connection, and meaningful engagement for people living with dementia and those who support them. The session encourages reminiscence and shared moments, using themed memory collections such as dogs, Australia, gardening, and beautiful birds to spark conversation and connection.
A highlight of the experience is the Tovertafel table an interactive light table that responds to movement and touch, turning simple actions into playful, engaging moments that support wellbeing and joy.
Bookings are essential.
Attendees are required to bring a carer or loved one, as the session is designed to be experienced together.
The Blacktown Dementia Action Group was proud to be part of the co-creation team for The Living Hub, and this session reflects our commitment to moving from awareness to action in our community
