"Music is Medicine"    A safe place for people living independently in the community with a Dementia diagnosis, their spouse, family member or friend to enjoy a social activitiy, relax, recharge and connect with others without bias, judgement or stigma.                                                
Every voice is valued!  No auditions apply to eligible members.           

Wednesdays : 11.30am – 1.30pm  (Excluding School Holidays)

$5.00 per person per session applies. Please let us know via email if this is a barrier.

“Medical research has demonstrated a range of benefits of music therapy for people living with dementia, including improved cognitive function, a reduction of behavioural and psychological symptoms, improved quality of life and a boost in communication.

 The Choir participants enjoy a range of well-known songs led by professional musicians; music therapy including breathing and grounding exercises; and self-care skills that can be exercised outside of the choir.  Come and give it a try!
