Yarning about Dementia

This yarn is an interactive session to deepen your understanding of dementia through shared stories and practical strategies. Topics include What is dementia – symptoms and signs, understanding changes in behaviour, how to communicate, carer wellness, dementia friendly communities, advocacy and peer support, virtual session – walking with someone with dementia.

We will share stories and talk about strategies to support individuals and people living with dementia. 

This session is suitable for anyone impacted by dementia.
