The Agnes Water & Surrounds Dementia Support Group provides a relaxed, safe, welcoming, and supportive space for carers of people living with dementia and their loved ones to connect, share experiences, access information, and build social networks.
The objective of the group is to:
- Offer emotional support and reduce isolation for carers.
- Provide up-to-date information on dementia care, services, and resources.
- Facilitate referrals to appropriate health and community services.
- Encourage sharing of lived experiences.
- Create opportunities for social connection and enjoyment.
Support carers in navigating the health and aged care journey.
