Careship Coorong is a therapeutic farm for people living with dementia and other social care needs.
Participants contribute to farm activities on a working escargot farm as part of a therapeutic program. Therapeutic farming provides social value to participants and increases wellbeing and confidence while strengthening social networks.
Participants can also enjoy gardening activities, art & craft or just have a relaxed day on the farm.
Careship Coorong was established in 2011 by a group of community members and is mostly operated by volunteers. The farm features a large Mongolian yurt which is used as the gathering space.
