Dementia Friendly Goulburn
Dementia Friendly Goulburn is committed to providing practical resources, activities, and guidance that support people living with dementia to maintain their independence and live with dignity within their community.
Our aim is to ensure people living with dementia are respected, understood, and supported. We focus on enhancing quality of life through person-centred services, where each individual’s needs, preferences, and choices are prioritised, and where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.
By educating the community and reducing the stigma associated with dementia, Dementia Friendly Goulburn seeks to lessen the isolation often experienced by people living with dementia. Through accessible and inclusive community activities, people living with dementia and their carers are encouraged to connect, share experiences, and actively participate in community life.
We welcome your ideas and would love to hear what activities you would like to access - such as singing, exercise, art, social gatherings, or other activities of interest.
