Gold Coast Dementia Community
The Gold Coast Dementia Community is a newly founded organisation aiming to become the leading central hub for all things dementia support on the Gold Coast. We serve people living with dementia, their loved ones, carers, and the organisations, allied health providers, businesses, and community groups offering dementia-friendly services.
Current offerings:
- Monthly networking social events
- Facebook group for peer support and event opportunities
- Dementia-friendly intergenerational playgroup
- Dementia awareness sessions
- Dementia-friendly recognition program

- Web-based service directory
- Carer support groups
- Social events
Community members can join as Friends, businesses and organisations as Affiliates, and both can get involved as Volunteers!
