We are a volunteer organisation founded on the principles of the Mechanics’ Institute Movement and dedicated to providing local residents with a friendly, knowledgeable and comprehensive library service.
We host events such as play readings, book launches, author talks, book groups, and Saturday morning Scrabble games. we also have a children’s library open 4 days a week.
