PATInc gives people the opportunity for enjoyment and interest, as well as offering occasions to meet new people and make new connections with the local communities.
Our objectives are to address isolation and loneliness, to create opportunities to socialise with varied activities and outings.
As well as monthly branch meetings and branch activities members can take part in affordable outings, including subsidised bus trips away, ‘eating with friends’ at local restaurants and cafes BBQs along the Huon River or combined branch ‘Pot Luck Lunches’ where everyone brings food to share. Members only pay a modest annual fee.
PATInc minimises the restrictions that are often placed on people because of age, physical limitations or ability.
