Advocate Jeff Thurlow wins Community Spirit Award

In January, we were delighted to hear that Dementia Advocate Jeff Thurlow was recognised with the Community Spirit Award at the Lithgow City Council Ability Awards for his role in local dementia advocacy.

The awards were announced to coincide with and celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Jeff Thurlow has spent the past two years advocating for change in his local community by establishing a Dementia-friendly community in Lithgow.
