A warm welcome to new Western Australian Consumer Engagement Coordinator Renae Brennan. Renae has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a minor in Children and Family Studies.
She comes to Dementia Australia after a number of human services roles within the disability and mental health sector including Client Liaison Officer at Visibility, Western Australia’s Individualised Service Inc (WAIS) and Mental Health Client Services Officer with Australian Red Cross.
Renae brings a strong understanding of the importance of advocacy and the individual and their family in shaping their support and the value of lived experience.
She recently met some of the Western Australia advocates at an advocate meeting in Mount Pleasant.
