Creating dementia-friendly connections in Noosa

NoosaCare in Queensland has brought together a mentoring program to connect people living with dementia, and their carers, with others facing similar challenges and opportunities. 

This video, filmed in the early days of the project’s development, showed how the networks beginning to form were already providing important support for people living with dementia and their carers and families.

Dementia Australia thanks everyone who participated in the filming of this video. Dementia Australia plans to visit the project in mid-2019 for an update on progress. This project was a recipient of a Dementia Australia Dementia Friendly Community Community Engagement Program Grant.
