This year’s Dementia Action Week will be held from 19 – 25 September, which includes World Alzheimer’s Day on Wednesday 21 September.

We are pleased to let you know that this year’s theme will remain ‘A little support makes a big difference’ to continue our three-year strategy to reduce discrimination experienced by people living with dementia.

We are building on the 2020 and 2021 campaigns by also focusing on the little things a community can do to support someone living with dementia, their families and carers. Additionally, during Dementia Action Week 2022, Dementia Australia will also encourage healthcare professionals to learn more about how they can make their practices more dementia-friendly.

If you'd like to get involved and share how a little support has made a big difference for you, contact your State or Territory Consumer Engagement Coordinator.
