Dementia Advocate Satisfaction Survey 2024 – the results are in!

An email went out to all Advocates recently sharing the results of the 2024 Dementia Advocates Survey. 

A big thank you to the 236 advocates who completed the survey sharing your insights on what is working well and how we can improve the Dementia Advocates Program. 

Some of the ways we are responding to the survey results and improving the program include reviewing our communication strategies with Advocates, looking at more regional based activities which bring Advocates together, continuing to explore co-design projects involving Advocates, and ways we can more effectively engage you in advocacy work.

The DAAC also continues to look at ways to create opportunities for Advocates to get to know each other and collaborate locally.

Look out for Strengthening Connections events in your regional areas.

We know there is still more work to be done, particularly in how we:

  • communicate opportunities for you to be involved
  • support you to participate in advocacy activities that are important to you.
