Dementia Australia clients feel heard, survey finds

Dementia Australia is the source of trusted information, education and services for the estimated half a million Australians living with dementia, and the almost 1.6 million people involved in their care.   

No matter how you are impacted by dementia or who you are, we are here for you.  

In a recent survey of people who have used our services:   

  • 97% of people said when they contacted Dementia Australia we understood their needs   
  • 98% of people said they would contact Dementia Australia again if they needed help   
  • 98% of people said when they contacted Dementia Australia we listened to them   
  • 96% of people said their understanding of dementia has improved   
  • 96% of people said they have a trusted relationship with Dementia Australia staff who supported them.   
  • 94% of people said because of the support they feel better able to cope with their situation
