Dementia Australia Photo Shoot

Tuesday, 26 July 2022Advocacy in Action
Dementia Advocates Vicki and Mike Barry.

In June a number of Dementia Advocates answered the call to be part of Dementia Australia’s brand photography project.

The purpose was to broaden our library of images to authentically depict the lived experience of people living with dementia and their carers.

This was an opportunity for Advocates to help ensure images used by Dementia Australia are positive and energetic, as well as help to dispel common myths and reshape perceptions of dementia.

A huge thank you to advocates Mithrani Mahadeva, Steve Rule, Vicki and Mike Barry, Joy and Bruce How, Bronte Tamblyn, John and Carol Rodgers, and Geoff, Trish and Michael Richards for being part of the photo shoot. It was a lot of fun!
