This month more than 60 Advocates, including all members of the DAAC, had their say on Dementia Australia’s next strategic plan.

This strategic plan is the organisation’s long-term strategy outlining how they will achieve real and sustainable benefits for people living with dementia, their families and carers.

Dementia Australia, in partnership with strategic consulting firm Nous, led a consultation process about the next strategic plan to hear stakeholder perspectives, inside and outside of the organisation.

Advocates from around the country gathered in various focus groups and one-to-one interviews to give their voice on what is important to them.

This covered all aspects of the strategic plan including vision, purpose and focus areas.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the conversations.
