Taking care of your body and staying healthy has many benefits, including lowering the risk of developing dementia and living a healthier, happier life. It's never too late to start.

Physical activity increases blood flow to the brain, stimulates the growth of brain cells and the connections between them, and is associated with larger brain volume. The World Health Organisation also recommends being physically active as one way to reduce the risk of cognitive decline.

Get moving today, while also raising funds for Dementia Australia.

At Dementia Australia we have events for everyone. You can choose to take part in the Great Australian Swim and swim 15km, 60km or 100km, or take part in the Marathon to Remember and run a half, full or ultra-marathon. We also have the new Impossible Challenge, a FREE virtual event which you can do at your own pace, in your own time. The best thing about all our events is you can keep fit while also raising money to support people impacted by dementia.

How far will you go to make your impossible, possible and help create a brighter future for people impacted by dementia?
