A group of Dementia Advocates on stage at the Sydney Opera House launch of the Hold the Moment podcast

Hold the Moment, a podcast by people living with dementia, was officially launched at an event at the Sydney Opera House on 20 August.

Dementia Advocates who starred in the episodes attended the event alongside co-hosts Jim Rogers, a Dementia Advocate who lives with younger onset dementia, and journalist Hamish Macdonald, whose father has dementia with Lewy bodies and Parkinson’s.

We’re thrilled to announce the first three episodes of Hold the Moment are now available, exploring receiving a diagnosis, getting your affairs in order and exercise.

In these episodes, you will hear from people living with dementia about their experiences with a diagnosis and how they stay active.   You can also gain insights from a law expert into the common (and sometimes confusing) terms you’re likely to hear as you start getting your affairs in order.

Listen to the first three episodes now at www.dementia.org.au/podcast and be sure to follow Hold the Moment on your favourite podcast platform to stay updated with new episodes!
