It Starts with You
Dementia Advocates around the country are doing their bit to build dementia-friendly communities with the It Starts with You campaign.
The regional community of Port Broughton in South Australia hosted their session recently and local Dementia Advocate Gerry Chivell spoke about community needs from a carer’s perspective.
Led by Dementia Australia Community Development Officer Liz Withall and the Barunga By the Sea retirement village, community members developed some great ideas about how Port Broughton could be more accessible and inclusive.
