Mick Simpson’s Dementia Awareness Walk

Dementia Advocate Mick Simpson, along with the Kyabram dementia group, hosted a dementia awareness walk in February.
About 80 people joined Mick on a 2.5 kilometre walk around Victoria Lake, Shepparton to raise community awareness of dementia as well as fundraise for Dementia Australia.
The Kyabram Lions Club provided a barbecue for all to enjoy afterwards.
In January, Mick was named Campaspe Shire’s Citizen of the Year for his work in the community. Congratulations to Mick for this outstanding achievement.
