Western Australian Advocates tour new Perth office

Western Australian Advocates were invited to the new Perth office to meet with staff and enjoy morning tea.
Advocates spoke with staff and shared what they were passionate about and what advocacy opportunities they participated in. It was an opportunity for staff to hear about the numerous ways Advocates are involved in Dementia Australia programs as well as external opportunities they engage in.
When asked what her thoughts were regarding the initiative, Advocate Rachel Letts said for her it was an opportunity for ‘more meaningful engagement with faces not names’.
Another opportunity for Advocates to meet with staff is planned for later in the year.
