Co-designing a digital sleep intervention for community-dwelling people with cognitive impairment and their care partner

Monash University

This project aims to co-design a digital sleep program, supported by trained sleep coaches, for use by people living with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or mild dementia and their care partners.

We are seeking valuable feedback and insight from a range of community stakeholders, including people living with MCI or mild dementia, care partners and health professionals.

This study has been approved by Monash University Human Research Ethics Committee (Project 45781)

Participation

The study is recruiting people living with mild cognitive impairment or mild dementia and their care partners.

You will be invited to participate in a series of workshops (either online or in-person) to help us design the online program and sleep coaching model. During these workshops, you will be asked to take part in open discussion and design activities, in order to brainstorm ideas for the design and format of the digital sleep program and sleep coaching model. Your insights and feedback will ultimately inform the final design, which we will also ask you to provide feedback on.

Overall, the study involves:
• 3 co-design workshops (60-90 mins each)
• Discussions, brainstorming and design activities
• Feedback on the program
• Questionnaires
• Interviews (optional)
