Decision-making involvement among people living with dementia and supporters of people living with dementia

This is a national survey on preferred and actual levels of involvement in different types of decision-making among people living with dementia in home settings, and their primary carers/supporters.

The aim of the survey is to provide an evidence-base for future work in the area of supported decision-making. 

This study has been approved by the University of New South Wales Human Research Ethics Committee - iRECS6877

Participation

The research team is looking for people 

who have been diagnosed with dementia and living at home 

OR 

are the primary supporter for a person diagnosed with dementia who is living at home 

AND who meet these criteria to participate; 

  • aged 18 years or older;

    living in Australia

    able to complete a survey in English
