Evaluation of the Dementia Support Pharmacist Program

A research project evaluating the Dementia Support Pharmacist Program delivered by the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia. This study aims to 

  • determine services and activities that have been provided by the clinical pharmacists through this program
  • explore the role of pharmacists working in dementia care in rural and remote areas
  • explore the real-world impact of this service through the lens of clients of this service. 

This project has been approved by the University of South Australia Human Ethics Committee (Ethics Protocol: 206631)

Participation

To participate in this study, individuals must have had contact with Pharmaceutical Society of Australia's Dementia Support Pharmacist Program. Either being a client themselves or a family member, carer, or health care worker of a client of the service.
 

Participation details:

Participation involves a one-off Zoom or phone interview, expected to take about 20-30 minutes. To thank you for your time, you can opt to go into the draw to win one of five gift vouchers valued at $50. 


Participant duration

Single interview. Approximately 20-30 minutes.
