How to design technology solutions for older Australians with mild cognitive impairment

This research will investigate how older Australians with mild cognitive impairment use technology. 

It will explore the activities they perform with technology and the devices they use. It will also consider how they prefer to interact with technology and the things that affect these preferences. 

Approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee, University of Canberra (HREC14156)

Participation

For this study, researchers are seeking:

  • People aged 65 years or over, with mild cognitive impairment and living in the community
  • Family members or carers of older people with mild cognitive impairment
  • Medical or health professionals who treat older people with mild cognitive impairment

Participation involves doing a 1-hour interview at the University of Canberra. Participants will receive a gift voucher after the activity.
