Learn about the Dementia Advocate Program in this session.

Dementia Advocates are a diverse group of people who aim to influence positive, long-lasting changes to attitudes, policies, and practices for people impacted by dementia in Australia.

The Dementia Advocates Program is where people with living experience of dementia (Dementia Advocates) work together with Dementia Australia to raise awareness, to tackle stigma and discrimination, and to influence decision-makers across government and the aged care and disability sectors. People living with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or dementia, as well as carers and former carers of people with dementia can join the Dementia Advocates Program.
