This research project aims to understand the emotional experience of caregivers of people with dementia. We are interested in exploring different emotional experiences and wellbeing in the context of caregiving. In particular, we are examining a new measure of emotion called the Digital Three Circle Scale.

This scale has been validated and examined before with adults and teenagers and found to be a valid and helpful measurement tool. In this research we are testing the validity, suitability and acceptability of the scale for caregivers to determine if it should be used in future research.

This study has been approved the University of Queensland Human Research Ethics Committee (2026/HE010673)
