In a Dementia-Friendly Community, Dementia Friends, Dementia-Friendly Organisations, Inclusive Groups and people living with dementia come together to increase understanding and champion for change to create a place where everyone is included.

But it’s also possible for these dementia champions to come together as a Dementia Alliance, working together to define collective goals and achieve even more.

All it takes is one dedicated person to start a Dementia Alliance, but the impacts experienienced by people living with dementia and their carers can be positive and meaningful.

Dementia Alliances can:

Connect

Find people, groups and organisations with shared goals

Strategise

Use collective skills, knowledge and living experience to make wider plans

Act

Put your plan into action and make a difference
