Dementia care for Victorian public sector Allied Health staff: webinars

Thanks to newly secured funding from the Victorian Department of Health, Dementia Australia is pleased to offer 10 free dementia care webinars exclusively for Victorian public sector Allied Health staff.

This series provides Allied Health professionals with the opportunity to deepen their dementia care knowledge, strengthen their practice, and continue improving outcomes for people living with dementia in their care.

Designed for passionate and motivated Victorian Allied Health professionals, the series will explore practical approaches to dementia care and support professionals to build confidence in their everyday practice.

Each webinar attracts 1 CPD Point.

The Exploring Dementia Care for Victorian public sector Allied Health Staff – Lunch and Learn webinar series will run monthly from August 2026 to June 2027, 12pm–1pm.

Participants will gain access to:

• Expert advice and insights from dementia care specialists
• Experiences and perspectives from people with lived experience
• Practical case studies, resources and strategies
• Interactive Q&A sessions to ask questions and discuss real-world challenges

• Understanding and supporting changes in behaviours.

Before enrolling in these webinars: you MUST be working as an allied health professional in Victoria.
