The Safe Steps Program: Co-Design and Development of a Tailored Falls prevention Program for Older Adults with Cognitive Impairment
This study is developing a new program called Safe Steps to help reduce falls in older adults with mild cognitive impairment. People with memory or thinking changes are at a higher risk of falls, yet many existing falls prevention programs are not tailored to their needs.
We are inviting people with mild cognitive impairment and their carers to take part in co-design workshops to help shape the program. By sharing your experiences, you can help develop a falls prevention program that is tailored to the needs and preferences of people living with cognitive impairment.
This study has been approved by The University of Sydney Human Research Ethics Committee (2026/HE000228)
